Beauty Haul | MAC
Hey Lovelies!
Over my birthday I took a trip to my local MAC and bought my very first MAC lipstick (well two actually!) I couldn't decide which one I| loved more and did they typical 'It's my birthday so i'll treat myself to both', which i'd been doing all week!
I'm always a little wary of lipstick colours and I didn't want to spend £14 on a horrible shade so I pretty much let the make up artist try about 12 lipsticks on me and before we settled on Captive, which is a Satin finish, and Girl About Town which is an Amplified finish. Every day since i've bought them I've worn Captive and every night out i've swapped it for Girl About Town, which works perfectly with the Lipliner I picked up in the shade 'Magenta' (which was £11.50) I never would have chosen these shades for myself but I don't see myself wearing anything else on my lips for a long time!
I also re purchased my Pro Longwear Concealer I picked up the shade NC42, typically im going on holiday next week and no doubt it wont match when I get back but this is my shade for the majority of the year so I know I'll get use out of it!

Review | MAC Fix Plus & How I use it!
Hey Guys,
While I was in the lovely city of Paris a few months back I picked up a bottle of MAC fix plus on a bit of a whim. I know several people who love it, and seeing as I couldn't leave a MAC shop empty handed I picked this up for about €13 something around that.
I know many people use Fix Plus as something that keeps your make up in place, a setting spray. Maybe its just me and my skin, but as much as I wished it would Fix Plus does nothing at all for keeping my make up on, (I've yet to find anything that seriously does so!) However I do love the spray and use it for a whole bunch of other reasons.
Having oily skin I tend to powder my face often however that can often leave we that cakey, powdery look after make up. One sprtiz of this really helps get rid off all the excess powder and leaves a really natural un-cakey face, rather than looking like I've just walked face first into a powder puff!
I also love using this under my make up, so once I've washed my face I spritz this on and then apply my moisturiser, It's a brilliant way of locking in my moisturiser and I feel leaves my skin feeling so much softer once I've applied my make- up.
In the past I've also mixed this with my foundation as I use Nars Sheer Matte Foundation (review here) which dries extremely quickly, giving you little time to blend it properly. I feel a spray of Fix Plus on the back of my hand or my brush and then mixed with my foundation really helps with blending it and almost buys me some more time to get it blended just right!
Fix Plus has so many uses, and Its the perfect thing to finish off your make up. The slide and lock spray on the bottle is perfect for travelling and I know this will be absolutely perfect for when i'm on holiday and want a midday refresher! I 100% recommend Fix Plus but if you are looking for something purely make your make up last all day this in my opinion might not be exactly what you are looking for.

'An aqua-spritz of vitamin and minerals, infused with a calm-the-skin blend of green tea, chamomile, cucumber, topped off with the fresh, natural, energizing scent of Sugi. Adds radiance, finishes makeup. Spray it on. Skin drinks it up!'

Dutyfree haul and my week in Magaluf!
Hey Lovelies
I mentioned briefly in my last blog that I was going on holiday with all my friends, I got back yesterday and thought I would share some photos of my time! I had an amazing time with my friends, we stayed in a lovely hotel (amazing considering your in Magaluf anyway haha!) We had a typical girls holiday, chilled all day and out all night. Definitely the best week of my life, i'll never forget it.
So as per usual I had a shopping list for the airport, I like to take full advantage of Duty Free. My first stop was the MAC stand. For a few weeks now I've been looking more into powders as they are something i've never really incorporated into my make up routine before, and I thought i'd treat myself for holiday and picked up the MAC mineralise skin finish natural I can't remember the exact price and the recite didn't make it back from the holiday but because of duty free I think it was around £19.
Next i wanted a new summer fragrance, about a year ago I got Marc Jacobs Daisy as a birthday present, and Im only just starting to run out and the packaging, although beautiful, is so bulky I didn't want to bring the whole bottle for the tiny bit of I have left. I'd heard mention of ESCADA's 3 summer fragrances, Sexy Graffiti, Island Kiss and Rockin Rio. So I thought this was a good chance to give them a smell. I liked all 3 of them but it was Island Kiss that caught my eye. Its got a fruity smell to it and reminds me of water mellon, but in a fresh scent. I thought it was a lovely light, fresh scent perfect for summer and a good day time scent as well! Again the price escapes me but around £28 I think (I'm awful, Sorry!)

Also a little side note which I think I was just as excited about as my actually holiday, was this box of goodies that I found waiting for me on my bed! My mum was given a huge box of rejected lush bath bombs that couldn't be sold because they were chipped or slightly broken! I can't believe it, some of them are in such good condition I wouldn't even think twice about buying them in store, one mans loss is another gain I guess! Thought i'd also include a few sneaky snaps of my holiday too and say a Thank you because when I arrived home I realised i'd hit the 50 followers mark! Thank you guys so much for reading!
